Round 2 would be Merchandise Accounting. THIS IS THE REAL FIGHT! No journals, no ledgers, no practice sets - just pure worksheets and my brain. I need to score high on this exam because I didn't do well in the second part of the course (duh, since when did I become a whiz in Accounting?) So let's put our hands together and pray that the Merchandise Accounting people will pass the final exam. I'm expecting that I will turn into cold mush on Friday afternoon..which reminds me that I should not! My mom will pick me up and we'll process my driver's license YAY! :) I don't want to look like shit in my license picture (not like Sherwan's haha!) so I must not turn into a soupy human being. I can't wait for September 26 and 27 because it's gonna be the premiere of Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy (Returns)! I just finished watching the promos of the two series and I must say that they executed it well. At first I thought that Private Practice wouldn't be that exciting but after watching the promo, MYGAD I am so waiting for it! The plot of Grey's is getting more twisted so I'm really looking forward for it too! I mean, Lexie's in the intern pool and she meets the heart-broken McDreamy in a bar (kinda similar to how Meredith and Derek met), and then Meredith discovers that Derek and Lexie are in "talking" terms just makes the story very interesting. I really want to know what's going to happen with the Callie-George-Izzie triangle and how Cristina's gonna move on. It's sad that Addison isn't going to be on Grey's anymore, but I think I'm gonna love her in Private Practice. :) So for those who haven't watched the promo of Private Practice, here's one! (Sorry guys I can't find a promo of Grey's Anatomy Season 4) | Monday, August 27, 2007 twelve
So Kevjumba is back from his camp thing and posted two new videos with Happyslip in it. How KOOOL is that? Haha! For those who don't know Kevjumba and Happyslip, they're both Youtube users who post hilarious videos. Visit their pages and you'll have a gaseous stomach after watching all their videos, GUARANTEED! :)) Kevjumba Happyslip In order to put this holiday into good use, I gathered all the cds lying around inside our computer room and decided to properly label them all. I saw a plain white cd hanging out at the back of my printer. I stashed it in and viewed its content. HOLY MAMAW It's my junior prom video! I got surprised because I wasn't expecting it to show up. As I watched it here in my PC, I was amazed by how everyone bloomed after graduation. The whole batch looked so nene yet beautiful in elegant gowns and lovely make-up. Oh and what surprised me more is that I saw a lot of college classmates in the video! (of course, the college classmates are boys. I came from a private school for girls.) Haay high school; I really miss! Question: bakit bilog ang buwan? hehehe Answer: it's because the moon has varied densities all over. thus, creating a spherical shape. :) And to maximize National Heroes Day, I will go out and see the world. (WEH?!) :) | Sunday, August 26, 2007 eleven
Acid Rain Screwdriver (this one's easy. anyone can do this!) Paralyzer Creamy Frapp Body Shot Love Potion (THE MOST EXPENSIVE DRINK~!) Absinthe Czech Mind Fuck (haha this one is crazy) aaandddd.... Coco Lychee Martini! OMG I can't believe I mixed Coco Lychee Martini perfectly! Haha this drink is THE DRINK OF ALL DRINKS! :) I just hope that I'll be able to mix good drinks next Friday because it'll be the bash of my cousin-slash-friend. We're actually turning the party into a barkada dinner coz it's only gonna be the Doodles + boyfriends of Doodles. OH GREAT I'm howe-less. So instead of boys, I'll be bringing booze! Yes friends, it's time for the boozeintologist to shine! Shifting the topic, today was tiring. VERY VERY TIRING. I picked up my nephew and niece because my cousin will be out to buy a new phone. My niece (her daughter) drooled over her phone and now it's not working anymore. I volunteered to watch them, with the help of the whole household of course. So my dad decided that we go to MOA to buy some stuff and bring the tykes along. I was relieved that both of them were quiet and well-behaved..NOT! Miged when we got home, my niece was crying non-stop! She was feeling kinda sleepy, hence the eardrum-breaking wails plus the fact that she's teething. She wanted to drink milk and bite the rim of her Barney paper cup AT THE SAME TIME. Like how human-ly possible is that? Some kids are just so Einstein-ish. Fortunately, my niece is one of them. Thanks to my mom, she put my niece to sleep in a snap. And now I believe that moms know the best. :) Okay so that was something new. But please Lord, I don't want to nurse a child just yet. I AM SO NOT READY! But I do plan to have kids. Maybe two? I want my daughter to be a fashionista, and my son to be a surfer. Haha I'm so gonna be a weird parent. :)) | Friday, August 24, 2007 ten
+ Saturday's (tomorrow's) MARKET1 Product Presentation + Sunday's Re-shoot of Chiara's FOTOCOM Project + Monday's Economic Recommendation Paper And then comes the showdown. FINALS WEEK! I took my BUSMATH final exam awhile ago and YAY! I got a high grade for that subject. One down, two more to go! I still have ECONTWO and ACTBAS2 exams waiting for me to die. MIGED I need to pass my ACTBAS2 finals or else, I'm a dead chicken ball. -_- Why oh why should Accounting be this hard? I swear I will hold a celebratory midnight drinkfest if I pass the exam! Kids, if you are lusting for academic challenge, THEN TAKE CBE (College of Business and Economics) COURSES IN MY UNIV! Hmm let's brush off the dark aura. Time for typing a few smileys. :) I've been thinking a lot about moving and transferring places (since I want to be independent) I talked to my mom about this and well, she said I could try in New York or California. I LOVE YOU MOM! :) I'm really glad that she's very supportive in this thing. I really really want to go abroad and walk on my own two feet. So as to not feel bored or homesick, I'll drag (:P) my very dear friend along! Haha :)) Oh btw, check out our first video blog HERE! Leave a comment kthnxbye :) Oh and new layout too! :P | Tuesday, August 21, 2007 nine
Last Friday: My dear friend (and babe) Audz left for Florida to pursue his studies. We're really sad because the "trio" would not be able to completely goof around during shoot breaks, although we're happy because you've gained courage to set foot on the other side of the world. Don't worry Audz, me and Zet will drop by your doorstep in Florida 2 years from now. We really really miss you! Come home this Christmas or I'll drag you! :) Last Saturday: Finally I got out of my cave! :) My poor self was alcohol-deprived for about 2 weeks already, so me and Zet went to Greenbelt3 to party. We met up around 9pm and started the night at Temple. We had a round of Cosmo and Coco Martini and waited for the party crowd to heat up. Even after we finished our cocktail drinks, the mood was still boring so we decided to go another round but now we chose Bacardi. Still, there was no life inside the place so we headed off to Ice Bar. MIGED the place was so full! It smelled like odorous body perspiration (so as it wouldn't sound so bad) plus cigarette smoke came in. Now, it was time for Bedspace. Tequila Sunrise and the crowd didn't satiate much. So before leaving the place, we bade goodbye to McCoy who was dj-ing in the bar. We decided to just kill time and went shisha-ing at Bollywood. If you were somewhere near Bollywood then, I bet you heard us swear, laugh, and talk loudly. We called it a night at around 1.30am and parted ways. Now I can't wait for the real term break! Booze will be coming..SOON. Last Sunday: Chiara called me up for her FOTOCOM shoot. It was QUITE similar to the shoot we had at the Fort. The location was in an abandoned house somewhere in Multinational Village. The house had a nice structure; too bad it was unfinished. The shoot lasted for a couple of hours and it got us dead tired. Before hitting home, we stopped by a fastfood store (?) and binged on cholesterol-filled food. Oh what yum :) Yesterday: My aunt's birthday. Just the usual happening. AND TODAY... wasn't that eventful. Oh wait, IT WAS! My dear friend Zet dragged me to Green Place and had my aura "interpreted" especially by Kuya Bob :)) MIGED He was so cool! I was astounded because the stuff he was telling me were all true! From the insecurity part to the love life blahs, EVERYTHING! But knowing all those is kinda overwhelming, no, confusing. Haha! Will be vlogging tomorrow. :)) | Friday, August 17, 2007 eight
Thanks for rubbing in my singlehood. Okay, I don't want this to become a tearfest. Moving on to a lighter note, I'll be getting my non-pro driver's license in less than a week. YAY! I really didn't expect this since I know that no one in my family would help me in this thing because everyone's really really busy with the business. So the roadtrip is on! :) Hmm I've been thinking. Don't you think it's pathetic when people bash you just because they don't like the "impression" you gave them? Come on, I know a lot of people who can relate to this. Sucks, right? :) | Wednesday, August 15, 2007 seven
CLASSES SUSPENDED POSTED 9.10AM. Wtf right. So I went inside school and texted people who are probably still in school. I found my cousin, and then saw JR and Sherwan strolling along the 3rd floor of LS Building. My mom nagged me to go home already because of the incoming typhoon. Instead of following maternal orders, I(we) went to JR's house to do our marketing plan. I loved their coffee jelly and mapo tofu! Okay so I munched a lot again. Sorry JR for being such a pig :) I'm really thankful for the typhoon. Egay, THNX! Because of you our quiz in Economics will be moved again and I won't go home late. So tomorrow will be allotted for my baboy lifestyle. I really hope this consecutive class suspensions would greatly contribute to my fat fund. PLEASE WORLD, COOPERATE! Oh I have this friend who posts amazing entries. Her latest entry inspired me to continue my (our) dream to see the world. Ever since I was little I really wanted to travel. I guess I got this from my parents; I'm telling you they love to travel especially when it's impromptu. So anyways I'm really looking forward after college graduation BECAUSE it's the time when I will see the world with my own two feet plus another pair! Yes, I'm traveling with a very dear friend. We'll cross international boundaries and make UN babies. Haha :P Okay time to multiply. | Monday, August 13, 2007 six
Before I went home, I said hi to a friend but he didn't see me! So he just passed by me and I was so embarassed! Don't you hate it when that happens? Ugh. And then on the way home, I wanted gum so I reached for my pocket for the gum that I bought with Zet. After rigorous searching (haha), the gum's not there! I couldn't find it. I searched all the pockets of my pants and bag but it's not anywhere in those places. So I arrived home- sleep, hello, and gum deprived. And I thought that this day will go bad until the end. So they say that everything should be balanced, according to natural law. If you started the day bad, it will end right. And yes, they were good. I couldn't spill exactly what happened. If you want to know, just message me for details. :) I could die happy right now, BUT then I remembered that I have an Accounting quiz tomorrow! I really hope I'll pass this last quiz because my grade is low, super duper low. Kthnxbye | Sunday, August 12, 2007 five
It's already 1.06 am. I still have my Marketing final exam here on my desk, UNANSWERED. Wish Songhee big luck. Goodnight, online world. I shall dream about you :) | Saturday, August 11, 2007 four
I don't want a lot for Christmas There is just one thing I need I don't care about the presents Underneath the Christmas tree I just want you for my own More than you could ever know Make my wish come true (ueee-ooh-ooh!) All I want for Christmas is .... ![]() Today is a Saturday and I am home. THIS ISN'T ME! Usually, I'm out during Saturday nights but not tonight. I guess I'll just spend more time infront of this screen and make myself plump. Anyways, I've been doing productive things lately and I hope this will go on and on and on. Oh, and I'm having getaway issues again. I was talking to a very dear friend of mine last night about it and we kinda shared the same sentiment on the issue. It's not that I'm desperate for greener pastures or what (actually I'm doing good here on Philippine soil). Maybe it's because Manila life has been boring the hell out of me and it's not healthy. Sometimes I just feel like changing lifestyles in a snap. Living away from motherland means great independence, and yes it's a big responsibility. But hey, in a few years we'll be walking on our own two feet right? So why not get ahead and start walking on your own as early as you can? Just before I started college I went to Canada for a vacation. I wanted to stay longer because a.) I'm "schooling" there b.) I have no definite college in the Philippines yet, so I have longer vacation days c.) It was boring in Manila. So, my parents went back here earlier than I did. I had a one-way ticket then. My future was unsure; it felt like I'm the universe's most hated astronaut. My grandfather got me application forms from different colleges in Canada. "Just in case", he said. As days went by, I felt attached to my new environment. I collected a handful of friends from the community high school I went to. The weather made me stock up on cold fat. I used more boots than slippers. Everything was new, and I started to love them bit by bit. Of course, I wasn't on cloud 9 every time. I had some things to think about, like my expenses. Nonetheless, my Canadian life was one of the almost-perfect life I've had so far. Thinking about it makes the issue bother me more. Hayayay. Oh the confusion of it all. I think I'm hungry. I'll go grab some cake. ---------------------------------------------------- My dad just came back from his business trip in Gen San. Before he left, I asked him to get me pasalubong. Before he left Gen San, he called me up to say that he bought something for me. And so the excited me, waited for my dad to come home. He arrived around 8pm. I watched him unload stuff from the trunk of our car. Since I got impatient, here's what happened. Me: Asan na? Dad: Wait. [After waiting..] Dad: Eto o. (hands a big box) Me: Ano to? (opens box) TUNA? Dad: Ang ganda diba ang laki! Masarap yan. Me: Eeeh. onga eh. Dad: Ay sandali, eto pa. Favorite mo to diba. (hands 10+pcs. of AIRPLANE SICK BAGS) Me: :D WOW THANK YOUUUU! FYI, I like sick bags. They're more than just puke containers. I love my dad. He always keeps in mind the little things that I like. | Friday, August 10, 2007 three
I was hoping that someone would notice my "typhoon" fat since the only thing I did during the two-day break (aside from sitting here infront of the computer) is to eat. Yes, I binged on all those enticing tummy fillers with calories and fat. But to my dismay, I didn't even gain a single pound. Before all of you think that I'm such a boasty toasty person (because I don't gain weight while everyone else is dying to lose weight), I am just wishing for a pound. A POUND, PEOPLE! As you can see, I am the most weight-desperate fat-deprived human in this living planet. For me, gaining weight is in the wishlist. That's how desperate I am. If only liposuction could be done symbiotically, I would've volunteered myself when Ai Ai delas Alas was smartlipo-ed. Hmmm okay, scrap that. Symbiotic liposuction doesn't look (nor feel) good. Okay, enough of the fat talk. Let's carry on. Yesterday I found out that my cousin will come here in Manila and visit me (haha selfish) this December. OH I CAN'T WAIT I CAN'T WAIT! I can't wait for her to come here because finally we'll be goofing around again! The last time I saw her was 2 years ago when I went to Canada for a vacation-slash-summer-school. Back then I had a one-way ticket, but DLSU accepted me so I had to kiss the cold weather away. Anyways, so yay! I'm stocking up on mp3's and wma's here in my good ol' computer. So far, I've downloaded the following artists: o1. Paramore o2. PlayRadioPlay o3. Quietdrive o4. Daphne Loves Derby o5. Secondhand Serenade o6. Yellowcard o7. Motion City Soundtrack Care to suggest more? I would really really REALLY appreciate it! :) New Word: SARK - n. the marks left on one's ankle after wearing socks all day Q&A At what age did you start blogging? - I can't clearly remember how old I was then. So today has been such a bore for me. I think I've done all the possible things I can do online: chat, check emails, blog, photoshop, download, burn files, and whatnot. And still, I'm bored! Thank you for canceling classes tomorrow (because I have a quiz in Accounting) but boo nothing much to do here again. I'll be living the MAMUY life again. Ho-hum. On a happier note, this term will end in about two weeks. I'll be finding myself driving a jam-packed car somewhere far far away. ROADTRIP! Oh, to be a sophomore. OH HELLO THERE! I'm still unfamiliar with Blogger so please bear with me. Hello to Oh Hello Baby's new web hole. I'm really not sure why I decided to transfer my personal blog here. LJ is cool; hey I'm still using my account there. Maybe I need to breathe fresh air. Okay whatevs, I'm here already so yeah HELLO WORLD! Ho-hum schoolwork has been eating me alive once more. (what's new) Right now I'm craving for a week break to match the lovely weather which rarely happens here in the capital by the way. I think this weather is the fake one. If you've heard of the cloud seeding thing, then you know what I'm talking about. For those who don't have a clue what I'm blabbing about, cloud seeding is when some weather people go up to the clouds and scatter chemical substances (I think it's salt) in order for rain to pour down. As you can see, we are currently experiencing drought. Our farmers are having a hard time growing crops to sell in the market therefore, our economy's gonna be in deep shit. We are an agricultural archipelago, people- we need rain. Mmmkay so much for the weather. I'm actually enjoying Blogger. :) New Word: FOODPLEGIC - a person who eats to much food that he/she can't stand up anymore (also look for baboy reflex) And the BUENA MANO ask is: So ilan ang mga boys mo?!
